Skydancer
Sailing Expeditions
S/Y SkyDancer of Longyearbyen is a 73 ft expedition schooner with enormous autonomy and strenght that allows her to reach safely the most remote areas of the Arctic.
HISTORY
SkyDancer is owned and operated by Nick Weis-Fogh and Torill Estella Pfaff since 2013. This great expedition yacht is a solid and spacious base for Ski & Sail, photography, film and science expeditions.
Currently based in Arctic Norway, SkyDancer can accomodate up to 10 guests in 4 cabins. She is ice reinforced and strong as a tank. She is warm and comfortable with a lower salon for dining, working or hanging out, and an upper salon for enjoying spectacular views.
Captain Nick started sailing as a toddler and became a professional in 1995, when he joined the Danish training ship Georg Stage, and the merchant marine thereafter. Nick moved to Svalbard in 1997 and lived there for 21 years, doing various jobs, including coalmining and guiding. Svalbard is his turf, and Nick brings a lot of local knowledge and incredible stories into expeditions on SkyDancer.

Torill Estella moved to Svalbard in 2012, where she worked as a hotel manager for Svalbard Hotel. One year later she had her sailing baptism onboard the SkyDancer and fell in love with this lifestyle. Eversince Torill Estella is the admiral, fantastic chef and hostess on SkyDancer's expeditions.
You can charter SkyDancer all over the planet for any kind of expeditions, film, diving, skiing and science projects, or just a fun sailing experience.

SUPPORT ESVBS
The first edition of ESVBS is an independently produced pilot, explaining who we are, pointing the direction we want to go, and inviting others to support it.
We made it free for everyone to participate and attend it.
We created it in the middle of a pandemic and global recession, with closed borders and our humble resources, but most importantly with a lot of drive, joy, sweat and passion!
You are more than welcome to tip the Creative Director
